The 1.5L EcoBoost engine has an auto start-stop so that you can save on gas as much as possible. There is also an eight-speed transmission paired with this engine. There is also the option of a 2.0L EcoBoost engine that has auto start-stop and offers a towing capacity of up to 3,500 lbs.

The Ford Escape also has a Hybrid 2.5L engine with a 96kW electric motor. The 2.5L plug-in engine has a standard charger that is 110 volts and takes about 11 hours to charge the battery. Alternatively, there is a 240-volt charger that only takes around 4.5 hours to charge the battery.
