Favorite El Paso Food Trucks - Casa Ford Blogrn

Sometimes you need great food and aren’t worried about the ambiance. Some of the best food is on wheels, though we may be a little biased as truck dealers. That’s right – food trucks are practically an institution these days, and we all have our faves, including here at Casa Ford. We put together a list of our favorite food trucks. If you need to get your own truck, new or used, come visit us and we’ll find the right one for you!

Birria El Capitan

One of the great things about food trucks is that less is more. A limited menu simply allows them to focus on their specialties, and that is certainly the case with Birria El Capitan. As the name suggests, the key menu item is birria tacos, and they are delicious. The taco selection is not exclusive to birria, though. Bistec, tripitas, and other goodies are on the menu, but the menu doesn’t stray far from its core offerings, and makes every bite worth it.

The menu probably doesn’t require a lot of explanation with a name like 4tacos 4tacos 4tacos. The 4tacos 4tacos 4tacos food truck is a great place to get lunch if you can’t make it to the main restaurant. They serve up great birria tacos in four packs, and you can great extra meat for a small additional fee. That’s our favorite, but they have cheese quesadillas if you’re looking for something without meat.

Rosie's Dhaba

While it is safe to say we could focus entirely on tacos, we do love to mix things up a bit. That’s where Rosie's Dhaba comes in. This truck serves up Indian cuisine that’s hot (in both definitions of the term) and fresh. The curry is great and if you’re a fan of exceptionally spicy they’ll make it to order. Our heartburn thanks us profusely after each visit. There are many non-fiery options to consider as well.

Sunland Park BBQ

We’re proud Texans, so we can’t overlook some great BBQ. Sunland Park BBQ is a truck with exactly that. The brisket is excellent and so is the pulled pork. Our favorite lunchtime treat is the “3 Way,” a combination of smoked brisket, carnitas, and chicken smothered in the house BBQ sauce on a bun. It’s like a sloppy joe on overdrive.
