Water Lantern Festival

Join up at Ascarate Park on April 8, 2023, for the El Paso Water Lantern Festival. A chill, all-ages event, the festival is a place to gather with the community and watch the water light up with lanterns. The event includes music and food trucks, so you can grab a bite and enjoy some tunes before the main event. The event supports water.org, an organization working on expanding clean water access.

El Paso Comic Con

You can also gather with the community at El Paso Comic Con, the community will simply be very differently dressed. The celebration of geek culture returns this year starting April 21st and running through the 23rd at the El Paso Convention Center. Scheduled guests include Patrick Warburton, Michael Rooker, and John Barrowman among many others. There will be a costume contest (naturally) as well as a fully stocked exhibition hall for all your memorabilia needs.

Cinco De Mayo International Fest

Celebrate Cinco De Mayo at the Consulate General of Mexico in El Paso this year with traditional Mexican food, clothing, and crafts. Cinco De Mayo International Fest happens May 5th and benefits local businesses, so you can have fun and support the El Paso community in the process. Musical guests include acclaimed rarámuri pianist Romeyno Gutiérrez.
