Ford Expedition's Capability Features Explained

The Ford Expedition has been a popular full-sized SUV for years. While many people point to the size and power of the vehicle, the Expedition really finds its uniqueness from its capability features. Here are some capability highlights from this year's Expedition.

The Expedition offers a best in class towing rating as well as Pro Trailer Backup Assist System. With its 375 horsepower and 470 foot-pounds of torque, the Ford Expedition can tow up to 9,300 pounds. To help manage all of this towing capacity, the Expedition offers the class-exclusive Pro Trailer Back-Up Assist. With Pro Trailer Back-Up Assist, the driver can steer the trailer with a simple control knob and a rearview camera.

To assist in braking with a trailer, the Ford Expedition also offers an Integrated Brake Controller system. This system works in conjunction with the vehicle's trailer sway control and anti-lock brakes to assist in braking the vehicle while towing up to 9,300 pounds.
