2021 Ford F-150 vs. 2021 RAM 1500

  • With the latest model year, the Ford F-150 now comes with six distinct engine options to choose from, allowing you to customize your drive the way you want to. The RAM truck limits you to only five options, impacting your ability to get the most from your drive.
  • The new F-150 can now equip an available 3.5-liter PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6 that delivers 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque. This engine setup allows Ford truck drivers to tow a maximum of 12,700 pounds and haul up to 2,120 pounds. The RAM truck won't offer any engine comparable to what's under the Ford's hood.
  • When properly equipped with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6, the Ford can tow a maximum of 14,000 pounds - best in its class. Even with the RAM 1500 making use of its HEMI® V8, it can tow just under 13,000 pounds, limiting your capacity.
  • Inside, the Ford F-150 enjoys a roomy interior designed just for adult passengers. It matches up well against its competitor, offering more front-row headroom and legroom than the RAM 1500 can.
  • Looking to power your tools when you are out and about and on the job? The new Ford F-150 offers the Pro Power Onboard, a class-exclusive feature that lets you use your truck as a mobile generator. The tailgate also functions as an exterior workspace, much like the interior work surface that includes a stowable workspace for your papers and computer. The RAM 1500 doesn't offer anything like this.
  • The new Ford F-150 comes equipped with the SYNC® 4 infotainment system, along with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration. The RAM 1500 offers these features, but you need to upgrade to unlock them from higher trim levels - that means paying more upfront and on your monthly payments.

2021 Ford F-150 vs. 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500

  • Both lineups offer impressive engine options, with V6, V8, and turbo-diesel powertrains. However, only the Ford offers the 3.5-liter PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6 - the Chevy Silverado doesn't provide a similar option underneath the hood.
  • When you need to tow and haul with the best, either truck will offer a suitable option. If you want the truck that can tow the most, you will want to climb into the 2021 Ford F-150. The new Ford truck can tow a maximum of 14,000 when properly equipped - the Chevy Silverado 1500 can only tow a maximum of 13,300 pounds.
  • With a brand-new interior, the Ford F-150 offers a completely new way to enjoy the drive. From new productivity-enhancements like an interior workspace surface to Max Recline Seats and a 12-inch digital screen, the new F-150 has the perfect way to enjoy your drive - you won't find these same features available in the new Silverado.
  • The Ford F-150 boasts the new SYNC® 4 infotainment system, complete with an eight-inch screen and wireless smartphone integration. It also now offers a 12-inch infotainment screen on some of the higher trim configurations, a feature that the Chevy Silverado 1500 lacks.
